Property is fine as we used it as a base to explore the region. Best part is that they included free passes to the thermal hot springs which were wonderful after a day's hiking. Great value for your money!
A better sign in front of the property would be nice to make it easier to find.

Location is 500 meters from the hot springs and restaurant. The road to the hot springs is dangerous to walk on.

Awesome experience, Lat Fortuna was a awesome town which is Not over run with tourists. Super Safe!
We really felt that this property was great value for money. We paid 90 USD with an uber to get here from SJO and then took taxi to town for food. It cost us between 5-7 USD one way. They provide us free passes to the hot springs which is about a 5 min walk from the hotel. These hot springs are soooo under rated and quiet. It was not over populated with tourists and sooo pretty. If you want to google it: Arnel Termalitas Hot Springs. The draw back is that the resturant was not opened on site so you need to go into town for food. But the property itself is super clean, we didn’t deal with bugs or insects. The rooms were well sealed and the air conditioning was excellent. The staff was beyond amazing. If you needed anything don’t be afraid to ask. The property offers free parking if you are self driving. We chose to rent a car from la fortuna since all car rentals were sold out in SJO. We booked tours with the hotel and the tour and guide was fanatastic! I recommend this place for the value of what you get. It’s an intimate and super relaxing as per there Moto. Also you can now pick up the keys on site!!! I would recommend if you are a budget traveller, skip baldi hot springs and come here.
Water pressure was low and they have no mini fridge.

Good value for money
Value for money is incredible.
A little far out of town but reception will call you a taxi. The worst was the walk to the hot springs. The walk is down a busy highway where you must walk on the side of the road. We did this walk on our first night and decided not to even bother on the second because of the walk.
